Hi all
Well here goes, my first blog! I had a real day to remember yesterday, having won a card making competition with award winning home shopping chanel QVC and one of the leading names in the world of crafting, Dawn Bibby. Frank (my beloved hubby) and I set off for Battersea and arrived to a lovely warm welcome from QVC staff.
We met the 5 other lovely ladies who had also won, had lunch, a studio tour, a briefing from the floor manager and a quick touch up of lippy and hey presto - we were live on air for 2 hours of cardmaking using lots of lovely products. After the show Dawn and fellow presenter Craig took us out for dinner and a glass or two of bubbly a perfect ending to a really fab day. Dawn, P, Craig, Julian, Sam and Naydia made sure we had a fun packed day and my lovely Frank, as always, looked after my every need (I'm disabled) unfortunately today its back to the reality of everyday life but what a lovely memory to cherish!
