Congratulations! - it's Party Time..........

Hi Everybody welcome back for another Create a Wreath post today!

Hope you are all keeping well and enjoying life.  Today I am using two lovely wreath kits but only one is going to hang on the wall!  I am using one wreath to decorate a plain brown paper sandwich bag and create a gift bag for a special wedding gift or anniversary gift.

Ingredients:
1 brown paper gift bag
Ribbon from kit
Pearls from my craft room stash
Candi fix
Wreath: Congratulations
Candi: Chantilly olive and icing sugar
Liquid Pearls: opal white

I made up the wreath by twirling, bending and shaping all the flowers before layering up into individual flowers and popped a pearl in the centre of each before placing on wreath ring, also placed ribbons on ring.  I covered the bag handles with ribbon to match.  Along the top of the bag I used heavy duty double sided tape to pleat some organza ribbon straight onto the bag and placed a row of Candi in cream (from Chantilly Olive collection) and icing sugar Candi.  I used liquid pearls in  opal white to decorate all around the bag and also decorated some of the petals with tiny pearl drops.  When everything was dry I attached the wreath to the front of the bag and added a couple of decorative pins through the bow.  After the event the wreath can be removed from the bag as a keep-sake.  Hope you like and will start creating with your wreath kits.......

  1. Hi Maria
I love all the little extra details you have put on your bag. It is the little extras that turn it into something to treasure.
Just fabulous and a great start to the blog hop.
